The Dome C5i is Planar’s newest 5-megapixel, automatic DICOM calibrated, diagnostic monitor designed specifically for the display of high resolution greyscale images such as mammography. It offers an exceptional viewing angle of 170 degrees, enabling groups of medical professionals to gather around the display to view images simultaneously. Because of its brightness of 700 cd/m2, the C5i can work equally well in bright areas as it does in dark radiology reading rooms. The C5i also provides unequaled grayscale fidelity and image quality by displaying 3061 distinct shades of gray;
